Claire Thompson's Solitary Knights of Pelham Bay series takes a handful of men who believe they are jaded in life and offers them a second chance at love, a chance to finally catch "the one who got away." ...I found these stories to be well-constructed and entertaining. A Test of Love feels slightly more multidimensional than Finding Chandler because of the tinge of suspense in the story, but it's always a pleasure to read about second chances at love. Switching Gears introduces a very well-written BDSM element. The diversity of these novellas ensures that we will not feel as if they are reading the same story over and over, even given some similarities among them. Although these are not happily-ever-after stories, they do document happy-for-now. ..Given just a taste of it, I'll definitely be looking forward to more of Ms. Thompson's stories about her Knights. --Bobby
